Lisbon, 1998
Franco is a Portuguese visual artist working across painting and sculpture. Her work explores quiet relationships between material, light, and atmosphere. Working through layered surfaces and restrained gestures, Franco creates pieces that feel suspended in time, somewhere between memory, landscape, and abstraction. Rather than focusing on fixed narratives, her practice grows from observation, intuition, and the emotional resonance of places, textures, and fleeting moments. Forms often remain open and unresolved, allowing space for ambiguity and personal interpretation.
She studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and attended the Erasmus + programme at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest. Her academic background also includes a Master’s degree in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics.
